WHO WE ARE

Care, Compassion, and Community

Wicare is a volunteer-run, non-profit support group for widows and fatherless children. Founded in 1993, we connect those who have experienced loss, offering understanding, support, and a strong sense of community from people who truly relate.

Shared Journeys
of Strength

Hear from widowed parents and fatherless children who have found comfort and strength through our community. Their stories reflect the power of shared experiences, support, and hope in the journey of healing.

The peer support here is unlike anything I’ve experienced. Talking to others who have faced similar loss has helped me cope, heal, and find courage to keep going.

The volunteers here listen with empathy because they’ve been through it themselves. Their guidance has helped me navigate life after loss with more courage

Connecting with others who truly understand my experience has made a huge difference. It reminded me that even in loss, there is still hope and support.
